Insurance
As a licensed psychologist, my services are typically reimbursable by a health insurance company. Clients can utilize my services through their out-of-network benefits as well. At your request, I can bill directly to your insurance plan on a monthly basis. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. For out of network insurance companies, please check with your insurance company and find out:
1. Can you see an out-of-network provider?
2. What is your deductible?
3. What, if any, are the limitations on number of sessions and/or dollar amount per calendar
year?
4. What percentage of the fee will they cover?
5. Do you need pre-authorization before the first session?
The answers to these questions can help you understand what your out-of-pocket expenses will be. Please check your coverage carefully! Seeking therapy in addition to sorting out the finances can sometimes feel overwhelming. Feel free to ask me and I can help you figure out the more confusing aspects of the process.
Fees
Fees are determined by the type of service requested (individual, couples/family). Reduced/sliding scale fees are available on a limited basis. I am happy to discuss this with you further either in person or via telephone.
